Karen Smith Floyd Volunteer of the Year

photoCongratulations to Karen Smith or amazing treasurer for being honored as Floyd Middle School’s Volunteer Of The Year!   Check out Dr. Hargrett’s letter of recommendation letter:

Mrs. Karen Smith has my full support as the Floyd Middle School Volunteer of the Year! She has served as one of the hardest working parents for three years and treasurer of PTSA for two years. Mrs. Smith is often at our school, multiple days per week, volunteering in so many ways, that people think she is on staff.

Mrs. Smith spends many hours supporting Floyd at school and at home. She can be observed supporting Art, creating resource packets for Orchestra and Chorus, assisting Health/PE with Scoliosis, Hearing, and Vision Screening, restocking shelves in the library, selling dance tickets, working concessions, selling Chick Fil A biscuits, preparing Renaissance Reward Packets for Honor Roll Students, Hosting Renaissance Receptions, and much more.

Please accept our highest recommendation to honor Mrs. Karen Smith as Floyd’s Volunteer of the Year. She has been this way for years at Floyd and deserves to hold the district recognition as well.
